Legal & Operational Framework

1. Booking & Payments: All tuition sessions are reserved and confirmed upon receipt of advance payment. Bookings are processed securely via Stripe or official Microsoft Bookings links.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling: A strict 24-hour notice policy applies to all calendar revisions. Sessions canceled or missed with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3. Delivery & Digital Architecture: Online sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams or BitPaper interactive whiteboard syndication. Students retain ongoing access to digital notes created during live sessions for revision purposes.

4. Session Punctuality: Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time. If a student is late, the session will still end at the agreed-upon scheduled time.

1. Data Collection: Mathentica collects only essential personal information (such as student/parent name, email address, and phone number) required to provide tutoring services, schedule calendar invitations, and process payments.

2. Data Usage & Security: Your contact details and academic notes are kept strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third-party marketers.

3. Third-Party Services: Payment processing is handled securely via Stripe, and scheduling is managed through Microsoft 365. These services adhere to industry-standard data protection guidelines (GDPR compliance).

1. Professional Credentials: Tutoring is delivered by Darren Brumby, a qualified secondary teacher holding a fully Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance, registered with the DBS Update Service.

2. Online Safety & Environment: Online sessions are conducted in a professional environment using encrypted communication tools. Parents/guardians of minor students are welcome to monitor sessions at any time.

3. Code of Conduct: All communications between tutor and student remain transparent, professional, and strictly focused on academic instruction and mentorship.
