Statutory Disclosure & Trading Identity:
Mathentica is a trading name of Darren Brumby, operating as a sole trader in England and
Wales.
All correspondence, invoices, legal notifications, and contractual engagements are directly with Darren
Brumby trading as Mathentica.
1. Terms & Conditions of Engagement
By booking a diagnostic consultation, executing an advisory track, or submitting payment for services,
you (the "Client") enter into a legally binding contract with Darren Brumby trading as Mathentica (the
"Coach"). If the student receiving coaching is under the age of 18, the parent or legal guardian
executes this contract on their behalf and accepts full financial responsibility.
1.1 Automated Stripe Payment Architecture
- To secure an elite coaching placement, Clients agree to the fees published on the Mathentica
platform (£150 per individual session or £450 per strategic block of 3) and must maintain a valid,
authorized payment method securely on file within our integrated Stripe payment gateway.
- Pre-Session Settlement: Individual sessions are automatically billed and processed
via Stripe forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled session start time. Access to the live
interactive BitPaper canvas and audio array is strictly contingent upon successful payment
authorization.
- If an automated transaction fails, the Client will receive an immediate automated alert to update
their billing credentials. If payment is not successfully settled twenty-four (24) hours before the
session, the slot will be automatically cancelled and reallocated to waitlisted candidates.
- For multi-session strategic blocks purchased via direct Stripe payment links, full payment must
clear prior to the scheduling of the initial diagnostic or coaching window.
1.2 Strict 24-Hour Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- The Coach operates an absolute and unyielding 24-hour notice policy for all session cancellations or
rescheduling requests.
- Because your specific calendar slot is reserved exclusively for the student, cancellations or
requests to reschedule made **less than 24 hours** prior to the scheduled session start time will
result in the session fee being forfeited in full. The payment captured via Stripe will be retained
as a late-cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice will not incur a charge, and any pre-authorized
funds for that specific slot will be released or credited toward a rescheduled date within the same
academic term.
1.3 Liability Limitation & No Guarantee of Academic Outcomes
- The pedagogical coaching provided by the Coach is designed to significantly improve conceptual
mastery, cognitive resilience, and advanced analytical execution. However, academic performance is
ultimately contingent upon the student’s independent work ethic, psychological state on examination
days, and variable institutional grade thresholds.
- The Coach offers no warranties or absolute legal guarantees regarding specific examination
grades (e.g., A*), marks, university admission offers, or placement outcomes at Oxford,
Cambridge, or Russell Group institutions.
- To the maximum extent permitted by English law, the total liability of Darren Brumby for any claim
arising out of or in connection with these services is limited strictly to the total fees paid by
the Client to the Coach during the specific calendar month in which the dispute occurs.
1.4 Intellectual Property & Digital Canvas Rights
- All pedagogical assets, custom STEP matrices, proof derivations, notes, and curriculum structures
generated during live sessions on the BitPaper canvas ecosystem remain the intellectual property of
the Coach.
- The student is granted an exclusive, non-transferable, lifelong license to review these materials
for personal educational revision.
- Under no circumstances may the Client copy, resell, publicly publish, upload to public web
frameworks, or distribute these digital whiteboards to third parties.

As a senior academic professional, Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching (FCCT), and veteran
educator with decades of institutional leadership, the Coach maintains an unyielding commitment to the
highest standards of online safety and safeguarding.
3.1 Professional Verifications
- The Coach maintains a current, fully verified Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
Certification.
- Evidence of certification validity can be shared securely with parents or legal guardians upon
request prior to the commencement of the first diagnostic session.
3.2 Operational Protocols for Online Interaction
- All live audio, visual, and written canvas interactions are managed strictly inside professional,
invite-only digital workspaces (e.g., secure BitPaper canvas links combined with high-definition
audio arrays).
- The Coach will never request or engage in informal communications with minor students via personal
social media channels, SMS, or unmapped chat protocols. All out-of-session communications regarding
logistics, work submission, or scheduling must flow through the parent's registered email or
authorized contact number.
- Parents retain a standing, unrestricted open invitation to sit in on or audit any live coaching
session from the student's physical location.
